RCM EXAMINATIONS
What are RCM exams? Should my child be taking one?
The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examinations are a Canadian national music exam standard for students, parents and teachers to track and measure progress and achievements. Students can earn Certificate of Achievement at each level.
Students can achieve up to 2 high school credits by doing RCM music exams!
When you achieve level 7 practical exam and level 7 theory exam, you can receive a Grade 11 OSSD high-school credit.
When you achieve level 8 practical exam and level 8 theory exam, you can receive a Grade 12 OSSD high-school credit.
